Mayo Power has agreed a deal to source green energy for its new Killala power plant from private forestry company Green Belt.

Mayo Power has agreed a deal to source green energy for its new Killala power plant from private forestry company Green Belt.

Under the terms of the contract, Green Belt will supply materials, including sawmill residues and wood chip, for use in the 100 megawatt facility, which is currently awaiting final approval from An Bord Pleanála.
