Greek swap: 58% of investors agree to deal

UPDATE: Bloomberg News has calculated that Greece now has pledges from 58 per cent of its investors.

Greek swap: 58% of investors agree to deal

More investors have said they will participate in the Greek debt swap, so that holders of 58 per cent of the debt are now set to take part in the deal, according to Bloomberg News.

Greek's finance ministry has said it is confident that its targeted ratio of 75 per cent of investors will take part in its planned debt swap, according to reports.

Greece only needs 50 per cent participation to go ahead.
