Great Western Mining’s plan to drill for minerals in Nevada has been approved by the local bureau of land management.

The AIM and ESM quoted mineral exploration company, run by Wexford-based mining veteran and executive chairman Emmett O’Connell, has 73 square kilometres of mineral claims in south-west Nevada and has indicated that it has significant potential for copper, as well as silver and gold.
