Great-West steps up Irish Life interest

Canadian insurance company Great-West has sent teams to Dublin to conduct detailed due diligence on Irish Life, as it scales up its efforts to buy the insurance company.

Canadian insurance company Great-West has sent teams to Dublin to conduct detailed due diligence on Irish Life, as it scale-up its efforts to buy the Irish insurance company.

The due diligence team will report back to Great West in the coming weeks, and the Canadian firm expects to close the deal for the state-owned insurer within the next two months.
