Building materials group Grafton could raise €200 million easily if it were to follow the example of other Irish publicly-traded companies that are selling valuable property sites.

Building materials group Grafton could raise €200 million easily if it were to follow the example of other Irish publicly-traded companies that are selling valuable property sites.

Grafton is considering a sale of a two-acre site in Sandyford, which currently is home to one of the group’s Atlantic Homecare outlets. A recent disposal of an adjacent 7-8 acre site by Allegro to Treasury Holdings realised €165 million.
