Grafton shares jump to 5 year high on trading update

UPDATE: Grafton Group saw stronger trading at the end of 2012 but turnover in its Irish retailing business still declined 9.2 per cent.

Grafton, whose brands include Woodies in Ireland, gained as much as 6 per cent to €4.15 today.

Shares in Grafton Group rose to the highest level since September 2008 in Dublin trading, after saying that it is on course to report full-year operating profit of at least €70 million euros.
