Grafton profit up 19% but Irish housing market at "unsustainable" low

Grafton Group confirmed that it had achieved a 4.6 per cent rise in revenue to €1.05 billion in the first half of 2012, helped by the strength of sterling against the euro.

Grafton Group confirmed that it had achieved a 4.6 per cent rise in revenue to €1.05 billion in the first half of 2012, helped by the strength of sterling against the euro.

The company said in an interim management statement that it continues to make good progress in challenging markets despite an outlook that remains uncertain.
