The Government must ensure senior bondholders in Anglo and INBS share in losses, says Green Party leader Eamon Ryan.

The Government must ensure that senior bondholders in Anglo Irish Bank and Irish Nationwide Building Society share in some of the losses that are about to be provided for in the new European Banking rescue package, says Green Party leader Eamon Ryan.

The Green Party was part of the coalition that oversaw the signing of the bank guarantee and the party was subsequently wiped out in the last general election.
