Government contract for Insight software

The Department of Communications, Marine and Natural Resources has awarded a three-year contract to Irish-owned IT company Insight to provide software quality and testing services.

17th February, 2007

The €900,000 deal follows the completion of an existing contract with the department, agreed in 2004. Declan Kavanagh, Insight managing director, said the new deal would see his company manage all of the department’s software testing and quality assurance processes.

‘‘It will include testing a range of scheduled releases and new applications to ensure they meet business and user requirements, and are delivered within budget and on time,” he said.
