Internet search engine Google is to start selling advertising space in newspapers.

Internet search engine Google is to start selling advertising space in newspapers. The company will begin a full commercial service early next year.

Google said 50 major newspapers had signed up to carry the ads in a three-month trial. It will use its existing ad booking system to sell advertising space in newspapers that would otherwise remain unsold.
