The share price of tech giant Google has topped $800 for the first time today amid renewed confidence in the company's ability to reap steadily higher profits.
The share price of tech giant Google has topped $800 for the first time today amid renewed confidence in the company's ability to reap steadily higher profits.
Google's stock was at $802.53 a short time ago, up 1.2 per cent. The company's recent impressive share performance is seen as an endorsement of co-founder Larry Page, who replaced Eric Schmidt as chief executive in April 2011, the AP newswire reported.
