Google: Irish YouTube users more digitally active

Results of a Google survey paint an interesting picture of Irish YouTube users who don't match the stereotypical profile of internet users.

Irish users are more likely to share content than their UK neighbours

Entertainment and education are the top reasons for using YouTube, a Google survey of Irish users has found.

The survey - the first of its kind to be carried out on Irish users - found that 91 per cent use YouTube for entertainment, 69 per cent use it for learning purposes and 53 per cent use it for social purposes and sharing with friends.
