Google has entered the voice over internet protocol (VoIP) market with a new internet phone service.

Google has entered the voice over internet protocol (VoIP) market with a new internet phone service. The service will see it go head to head with Skype and will allow people to make cheap home calls over the internet.

The Google Talk application currently works only on Windows, according to Google's website. Users need a microphone and a speaker to use the voice capabilities, and need to be using the official client. The company's moves...
