Irish advertisers will soon be able to place 3D ads on Google Earth, a satellite imagery programme that identifies local streets and buildings.

Speaking to The Sunday Business Post, the head of Google Earth’s commercial development, Shailesh Rao, said that the company plans to replicate its successful ‘ad words’ technique with more advanced technology.
