Goodman’s Hilton Food stake doubles in value
Irish beef baron Larry Goodman has seen the value of his stake in British retail meat packer Hilton Food Group rise by 102 per cent in the last two years.
Irish beef baron Larry Goodman has seen the value of his stake in British retail meat packer Hilton Food Group rise by 102 per cent in the last two years.
Goodman bought 3.5 million shares in Hilton shortly after it floated in 2007 representing a shareholding of just under 6 per cent.
A trading statement from the group last week said the company had continued to see good growth particularly in the Netherlands and Central Europe.
