Goodman family buys former BoI HQ for over €40m

The iconic former Bank of Ireland headquarters on Baggot Street has been sold out of receivership to the family of Larry Goodman for between €40 million and €50 million.

The iconic former Bank of Ireland headquarters on Baggot Street has been sold out of receivership to the family of Larry Goodman for between €40 million and €50 million - a discount of more than €160 million from its price in 2006.

The listed building had sold at the height of the property boom for €212 million to a consortium of private investors led by Quinlan Private, Paddy Shovlin, and hoteliers Anthony and Patrick Fitzpatrick.
