Good service is good business

It may be a cliche to criticise the poor quality that characterised customer service in Ireland during the boom, but research suggests that there is substance to the claim. According to industry analyst IDC’s 2008 IT survey more than two thirds of Irish organisations - some 68 per cent - don’t use any technology for customer relationship management (CRM).

That’s a problem, since good customer service is now firmly back on the agenda....
