The Kerry Bicycle Festival, a free event which began taking over Tralee town yesterday, is encouraging people of all ages to get back in the saddle and rediscover the fun of cycling.

It runs until September 23 and includes plenty of family-friendly activities like picnicking, an art trail, a dawn cycle and the Big Cycle on Saturday, which will see 1,000 bicycles converge on the town centre.
