Golfers mount bid to save Wexford course

Members of St Helen's Bay Golf Resort, a Wexford golf course, are rallying together in an effort to save the club, after Danske Bank seized control of the property.

St Helen's Bay golf resort: Danske Bank has appointed a receiver but the course remains open.

Members of St Helen's Bay Golf Resort, a picturesque golf course that hugs the Wexford coastline, are rallying together in an effort to save the club, after Danske Bank seized control of the property in recent days.

The club's membership, which includes a large number of Dublin-based professionals who own houses on the resort, have formed a working group and are now actively examining a potential bid for the resort.
