Golf equipment chain goes bust over debts of €1 million

Golfworks, an Irish golf equipment chain backed by Bank of Scotland (Ireland), has gone into liquidation after being shut down by one of its main suppliers.

Taylormade Golf, one of the biggest golf club manufacturers in the world, petitioned the High Court last week to wind up a company called Mulgannon, which trades as Golfworks.
