Mary O'Rourke's political future will be decided tonight when local Fianna Fáil delegates meet at the Bloomfield Hotel in Mullingar.

They will choose between O'Rourke and local councillor Kevin ‘Boxer' Moran for a place on the party's ticket for the general election in the new constituency of Longford-Westmeath. The selection convention is one of many that will be held by all parties over the coming weeks.
