Profits at Glen Electric, a major part of the Glen Dimplex business owned by Martin Naughton, halved last year, despite a slight increase in revenues to stg£805 million.

The company, which is based in Newry, Co Down, made a pre -tax profit of stg£36.5million in the financial year to the end of last March, down from stg£74.8 million the previous year. Revenues were up by stg£7 million from stg£798 million a year earlier. Glen...
