The Glanbia Co-operative Society has won 71 per cent approval to enter a dairy processing joint venture with Glanbia.

The Glanbia Co-operative Society has won 71 per cent approval to enter a dairy processing joint venture with Glanbia.

Pending the approval of its own shareholders, Glanbia is to separate its dairy processing business from other parts of the company, and form a joint venture with the co-operative.

The co-op will own 60 per cent of the joint venture and Glania 40 per cent.
