Odd Thomas (the eponymous protagonist and hero of last year's big hit by Dean Koontz) is a sometime fry cook who sees ghosts. At the moment, he's particularly haunted by Elvis Presley, which is unexpected, because Odd doesn't live in Graceland, but in a small town in California.
