The German government backs the disbursement of the next tranche of aid payments to Ireland following the implementation of the terms of the bailout program in the second quarter, according to a report.

The German government backs the disbursement of the next tranche of aid payments to Ireland following the implementation of the terms of the bailout program in the second quarter, according to a report.

Germany’s deputy finance minister Steffen Kampeter commented on Ireland in a letter to parliament dated today. The letter, which was obtained by Bloomberg News, cited assessment of the troika of Ireland’s program implementation.
