Germany is moving into campaign mode, with national parliamentary elections scheduled for this autumn. Nine months ahead of the election, things look promising for chancellor Angela Merkel and her Christian Democrat Party. Most speculation in Germany surrounds the question of which political parties will make up a new coalition government with her.
