German investor confidence dropped to its weakest level in 21 months amid increasing political tensions in Europe, despite moves by the European Central Bank to stimulate the economy.
German investor confidence dropped to its weakest level in 21 months amid increasing political tensions in Europe, despite moves by the European Central Bank to stimulate the economy.
An index of investor and analyst expectations fell to 6.9 in September from 8.6 in August — the lowest level since December 2012.
The Mannheim-based ZEW Center index has decreased every month since December when it reached a seven-year high.
