German business sentiment falls in September

Business sentiment in Germany fell for a fifth consecutive month in September, to its lowest level since April 2013, according to the Munich-based Ifo Institute.

Business sentiment in Germany fell for a fifth consecutive month in September, to its lowest level since April 2013, according to the Munich-based Ifo Institute.

The think tank’s business climate index fell from 104.7 from 106.3 in the previous month.

Expectations with regard to the six-month business outlook fell to their lowest level since the end of 2012.
