Providence: its front courtyard was designed by the same landscaper as the Japanese Gardens at the National Stud.

Ensconced on a private site of just under half an acre in the exclusive enclave of Ferndale Glen in Rathmichael in south Co Dublin sits Providence, a charming and tasteful six-bedroom Georgian- style residence surrounded by classical gardens.

Designed by architect Shelly Barrett, the 320 square metre property was built in 1999 borrowing from the graceful Georgian proportions of Towney Hall in Drogheda, which appealed to and inspired Providence's current owners, one of whom is an engineer.
