An idealist, according to an old quote, is someone who, upon noticing that a rose smells better than a cabbage, concludes that it will also make better soup.

Gardening in containers is the idealist's form of gardening. No weeding, no digging and no big garden plans to deal with. It's a great way to brighten up a balcony, patio or front-door area.
