Gamers raise $93,000 with 30 hour solitaire marathon

Two gamers on either side of the Atlantic have set a new world record for the longest videogames marathon playing a card game.

Laura Rich of Cardiff, Wales, and Kathleen Henkel of Oakland, New Jersey raised nearly $93,000 for charity by playing Solitaire Blitz on Facebook for 30 consecutive hours. The game was developed by Dublin-based PopCap.
