Galway restaurant Nimmo’s has closed after the company behind the business was wound up last week.

Galway restaurant Nimmo’s has closed after the company behind the business was wound up last week.

The company, Spanish Walk, which is owned by Dave and Patricia Sweeney, met creditors on Friday and appointed a liquidator.

Nimmo’s opened in 1991 near the historic Spanish Arch and featured a ground-floor wine bar and upstairs restaurant.
