Executives from six of the world’s biggest cruise firms will visit Galway this month to assess it as a new destination, as plans are finalised for a €120 million redevelopment of the city’s harbour.

Executives from six of the world’s biggest cruise firms will visit Galway this month to assess it as a new destination, as plans are finalised for a €120 million redevelopment of the city’s harbour.

The executives will be in Galway to coincide with the Galway Oyster Festival. Their itinerary will include visits to other destinations in the west including the Cliffs of Moher.
