Galway firm plans to double €3m funding

Galway firm Crospon plans to double the e 3 million funding amount it raised last April, in a new funding round planned for this year.

Crospon chief executive John O’Dea said the funding would secure its cashflow position, enabling it to launch its patented Endoflip product on the market.

The company has spent the past year fine-tuning Endoflip, a diagnostic tool for patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease (Gerd), for regulatory approval.
