Galway businesses which suffered significant losses during the county’s water contamination crisis are considering taking a legal action against the local authorities which charge them water rates.

Galway businesses which suffered significant losses during the county’s water contamination crisis are considering taking a legal action against the local authorities which charge them water rates.

Galway branch members of the Irish Hotels Federation (IHF) and the Vintners Federation of Ireland (VFI) have held preliminary discussions about launching an action. They plan to pursue this option further in September after the busy tourist season.
