Galway-based global games developer axes 200 jobs

Zenimax has now let around 200 staff go.

Zenimax, which makes The Elder Scrolls fantasy games and announced the creation of 250 jobs in Galway with some fanfare in March, has now let around 200 staff go, *The Sunday Business Post* understands.

The global gaming company announced that it was creating 250 jobs at its customer service centre in Galway city, where it has its European operations base.

The recruited staff were mainly English, French and German language customer service contract employees providing support to players...
