Presidential hopeful Séan Gallagher’s cabling company Smarthomes has received almost €700,000 in state supports from Enterprise Ireland over the past seven years.

Presidential hopeful Séan Gallagher’s cabling company Smarthomes has received almost €700,000 in state supports from Enterprise Ireland over the past seven years.

In total, Enterprise Ireland awarded €693,001 to the company since 2004, according to figures obtained from the state agency.

Gallagher’s company worked with several of the country’s biggest developers and traded strongly during the property boom, installing cabling systems for lighting and home-entertainment systems while houses and apartments were under...
