Further legal action to be taken against Irvine

Publican John Foley will this week initiate further legal proceedings against his former friend and business partner, racing driver Eddie Irvine, in an attempt to reclaim ownership of two Dublin bars.

The Sunday Business Post has learned that Foley is to serve proceedings under “minority shareholder oppression'‘ legislation in the High Court later this week.

Section 205 proceedings are lodged when there is a major breakdown in trust between shareholders.
