Funding available for life science companies
Innovative firms could net up to €7 million from a new fund partnership, writes Dermot Corrigan
Seroba Kernel Life Sciences, the newly formed venture capital fund partnership, will plough investment funds of up to €7 million into as many as 15 companies in Britain and Ireland.
It will fund the investment from an initial pot of €75 million, targeting product-focused and innovative life science companies at early to mid-stage development. Seroba Kernel was one of four investors which last week announced a major €18 million investment in Dublin-based biotech Opsona Therapeutics.
