Funders lose out in Altamedius sale

High-tech funders Delta Partners and Vertex have made a significant loss on the sale of Altamedius, a Dublin software firm that had raised €7 million in backing.

Industry sources said the funders had recovered a small percentage of their investment in Altamedius, which has been acquired by Qpass, a US firm. The terms of the deal were not disclosed, but it is understood that some of Altamedius' 12 staff have joined Qpass.
