The EU is releasing research funding of €11 billion this month, creating huge opportunities for innovators

Start-ups with new ideas are being urged to apply for funding under a multibillion euro EU initiative for research and development.

In a cash poor economy, the EU’s Seventh Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development (FP7) is offering Irish startups and SMEs valuable funding to support new products and technologies.
