Almost 80 jobs are being lost at a fruit and vegetable supplier in Dublin, after it lost a key account with Tesco Ireland.

Dublin Meath Growers (DMG), a €28 million co-operative of about 50 fruit and vegetable producing farmers, is being wound up. More than 90 per cent of the society’s produce was bought by Tesco, but that contract has ended.
