Adrian Devane and his wife Karen first came up with their concept of a toy that teaches toddlers the ‘‘cúpla focal’’ when they went to buy a teddy for their daughter in 2006.
The Galway couple realised that, despite the huge range of interactive products for children, there were no Irish language variations on the market. In late 2006, they registered the company name Bábóg Baby.
