Large price cuts also appear to be paying off for some of Dublin’s best-known property developers, with a number of first-time buyers taking advantage of reduced prices over the past few weeks.

Last month, Savills Hamilton Osborne King released the last batch of units at the Meadows scheme in Holywell in Swords at prices that were between 14 and 25 per cent lower than a previous phase which went on sale last April.
