Servier, the French pharmaceutical firm that plans to create 267 new jobs in Ireland, made a pre-tax profit of €58.5 million from its Irish operations last year.
Sales at Servier (Ireland) Industries rose by more than 22 per cent to €234.5 million in the financial year to the end of September 2005. In the previous year, the firm had sales of €191.9 million and made a pre-tax profit of almost €41.9 million.
