French-based CityJet pilots to strike at weekend

French-based pilots at Irish-headquartered airline CityJet have filed a notice of strike action for 17th and 18th May.

French-based pilots at Irish-headquartered airline CityJet have filed a notice of strike action for 17th and 18th May.

The pilots’ union said in a statement that Air France has not integrated CityJet, which is based in Swords but whose main airport of operation is London City, into the wider Air France KLM group. Instead it has opted to sell the airline in a process that lacked “communication and transparency”, said the pilots.
