Flight disruptions at Frankfurt airport look set to continue after ground controllers extended their strike until 11 pm on Friday.

Flight disruptions at Frankfurt airport look set to continue after ground controllers extended their strike until 11 pm on Friday.

Fraport, the airport operator, said 187 of 1,200 flights had been cancelled so far today. Yesterday, the busy airport cancelled 240 takeoffs and landings.

The 200 workers involved had been due to return to work at 5 am tomorrow.
