Fota Wildlife Park is set to help Cork tourism bring in €146 million in 2011, according to a study by research company Behaviour & Attitudes.

The survey found that 46 per cent of visitors to the non-profit attraction were holidaying in the area and spending €146 million during their stay.

The survey, commissioned by the attraction itself, took place over 4 weeks in June and August with the aim of identifying where visitors were coming from.
