Former Irish Press chairman steps down

Vincent Jennings, the former chairman of Irish Press plc, has stepped down as a director of the company, according to recently-filed documents in the Companies Office.

Vincent Jennings, the former chairman of Irish Press plc, has stepped down as a director of the company, according to recently-filed documents in the Companies Office.

Jennings had been chairman of the company from 1992 until 2005 but remained as a director of the media firm until May.

The company, which owns Thoms Directories and a stake in Tipp FM, has appointed Michael Shiel as a new director.
