Former Friends First sales director disputes 'high risk' investment loans
The High Court is to hear claims that investment bonds sold by Friends First Life Assurance were "high-risk property investments".
The High Court is to hear claims by the former sales director of Friends First Finance that investment bonds sold by Friends First Life Assurance were "high-risk property investments", rather than "little savings schemes".
Friends First asked the court to grant judgment against Frank Cronin for €148,526 borrowed in August 2006 and May 2008 to buy the bonds. But Cronin said the case should go to a full hearing, as he disputed the debt.
